Chaîne Phuket Dinner at Enzo

Enzo is a much talked about Japanese restaurant in Khao Lak that had had almost 550 reviews on Tripadvisor and it rates Excellent in 70% of these and almost 90% as Excellent or Very Good. In many ways this was a cult restaurant and many people travelled the 90 minutes from Phuket just to try the food

At the end of 2015 they opened a sister restaurant on Srisoonthorn Road half way between Cherngtalay Police station and the Heroines- part of the building that shares premises with the Andaman Wine Club

The owner Toshi San and manager Sutha San are very experienced in preparing and serving very fresh Sashimi and Sushi. Unlike some other Japanese restaurants including some 5 star hotels that offer Japanese food, the Sashimi is fresh and not frozen. The day I tried the food they served Norwegian salmon, local tuna, local horse mackerel and sea bream.

Sakes are numerous and as diverse a taste as wines. At the dinner we will be tasting 5 different Sakes. Many newer and fusion restaurants now serve Sake.
