The March 24 dinner will be at Aziamendi- Iniala across the Sarasin Bridge to Pang Nga
This is an early heads up that our March dinner tasting was held last night with Brian, Tobi and I attending and it was WOW. I have been critical previously of Aziamendi as having been 4 times here and once in malta I found it was always the same- I even referred to it as Ground Hog day- it just repeats until Spring arrives. Well, after last night Spring is here and we have a menu that now sources local as well as international produce.
Chef Aisha Ibrahim-Chef De Cuisine

Aisha Ibrahim joins Aziamendi Restaurant’s team as the new Chef de Cuisine. Having worked in some of the world’s most renowned fine dining kitchens, including stints in Tokyo, she was most recently Sous Chef at three-star Michelin Manresa. She has also spent time at other notable restaurants such as two-star Commis in Oakland, as well as Ishikawa and RyuGin both in Tokyo. She first encountered Eneko Atxa during an Azurmendi collaboration dinner hosted at Manresa. The event sparked an immediate interest and connection to Eneko’s cuisine and vision. After joining the team at Azurmendi, she has since relocated to Thailand and taken up reigns as the new Chef de Cuisine of Aziamendi. She embarks on this endeavor with both the support and inspiration of her new mentor.
